Mother’s Day is coming and, as usual, I’ve not a clue what to give to my mom.

For Christmas she asked for Beautyzzz, which she professes to love however I think another silk pillowcase for Mother’s Day might be over the top.  Do I dare attempt flowers again?  Leaning toward a home cooked meal or a repurposed book?  To be honest…I’ve not a clue.

My mom is the kind of mom who would prefer I save my money vs. buy her anything for Mother’s Day.  In years past, I’ve ordered flowers and had them delivered to her office with her only comment being “Oh you shouldn’t have spent your money on me!”   The next year, I lowered the bar, opting to “self arrange” a $9.99 Costco bouquet only for her to say “you should have saved your money!”
